Just wanted to pass this on, for those that might need a mobile mechanic in the North Bay. Today, I had Mike Morarity (Morarity’s Mobile Marine) come out to my boat, which is slipped in Bodega. He was on time, friendly, knowledgeable, and successfully fixed my issue (I had air bubbles in my hydraulic steering). This issue created excessive play in my steering, and threw off my auto-pilot. He charges a trip fee (which is reasonable), and his hourly rate was similar to most shops. He also has a shop at his residence in Petaluma. If you need a mobile mechanic, or just a new shop, I thought he did a good job, and I’d recommend him. He’s also a Marine Veteran, and a family man. Give him a shot.
